The planet we live on is our only home and, therefore, we want to take care of it. We are responsible for ensuring climate change does not increase, especially us, as we are already more aware. We have the power. We can act in a thousand different ways to achieve this: contributing with local associations in the collection of waste from mountains and beaches, in activities such as reforestation, or influencing those around us with sustainable acts. Showing off our sustainable jewelry makes others rethink the process behind theirs and how they can change that habit of consumption towards one that is more environmentally friendly.
Our role model in this case is our #MujerNehca par excellence, Maribel Verdú. She has contributed, for example, by reading a manifesto in support of the Sustainable Development Goals at the Instituto Cervantes. She has also participated in events like “Social commitment and the health of the planet” this past 2020.
We care about our companions
Sustainability must be accompanied by human rights that are actually fulfilled for it to truly work. That is why we are certified with the "Fairmined" seal. We believe in a just society where all countries are on the same level and human rights are indeed respected, thus also supporting sustainability. Every life counts. At Luz de Nehca, we care about the people involved in our business from start to finish, which is why we decided to ensure that even the first link in the chain works in a dignified and healthy way. One of our symbols at Luz de Nehca is the wonderful Audrey Hepburn. She contributed heart and soul to caring for others through UNICEF until her final days. In her childhood, she was grateful for food and medical aid when she suffered the consequences of World War II, and for that reason, she highly valued the work done in these types of NGOs. In addition to her impact on the world of fashion and film, she also chose to create this positive impact on the world.Commitment to self-love
