a book turned into a jewel
Die, Cupid was born between words and illustrations and found in jewelry a new way of being told.
A collaboration between writer Jaime Rodríguez, artist Brianda Fitz-James Stuart, and Luz de Nehca that transforms the book's universe into jewelry created by chapters.
IT ALL BEGAN IN THE PAGES OF A BOOK
FROM PAPER TO METAL
Can a story become a piece of jewelry?
Jaime Rodríguez's words built a story.
Brianda Fitz-James Stuart's illustrations gave it a visual universe.
And then a new question arose: what if some of those pages could be worn?
That is where Luz de Nehca comes in.
Not to literally reproduce the book, but to interpret some of its symbols and transform them into pieces that could step off its pages and begin new stories.
That is how Muérete Cupido was born as a jewelry collection.
THREE CREATORS. THREE LANGUAGES.
FROM THE BOOK TO THE RUNWAY
A CHAPTER THAT MADE IT TO MBFW MADRID
The Die, Cupid brooch stepped out from the pages of the book to become a piece of jewelry. And its story kept growing.
In September 2026, Isabel Sanchís incorporated it into her designs on the runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, bringing one of the pieces from this collection to one of the greatest stages in Spanish fashion.
A story that began among words and illustrations and that, after being turned into metal, ended up walking down a runway.
UPCOMING EPISODES
THIS STORY IS NOT OVER YET.
Muérete Cupido was not born as a closed collection.
As happens with books—and also with some love stories—there are still pages left to write.
