From idea to jewel
Every piece of jewelry begins with an idea.
Luminaria was born from a question: how to turn the light we all carry within into jewelry? Sketches, tests, and many hours of research gradually shaped a collection that starts with the rough diamond, the symbol of Luz de Nehca.
From an idea to something you can touch
The drawing begins to take on volume. Proportions, curves, sizes, and tests follow one another until the balance is found. Each Luminaria piece went through different versions before becoming the definitive jewel.
When the hands finished what the imagination began.
The piece reaches the metal stage and the jeweler's work begins: lost-wax casting, filing, soldering, polishing, and finishing, all crafted by hand until every surface reflects the light exactly as imagined.
HER LIGHT
What this jewel represents within Luminaria.
THE LUMINARIA UNIVERSE
Light does not appear suddenly. It is built from within.
Luminaria is born from the rough diamond, a symbol of Luz de Nehca, and from an idea: the most important light is not the one we receive from the outside, but the one we learn to recognize within.
Each piece of jewelry represents a different form of that light: the one that is born, the one that transforms, the one that pierces the shadows, and the one we finally decide to show.
A collection designed by Luz Rodríguez and handcrafted in Spain to remind us that it was never about shining brighter, but about letting out what was already inside.
An idea needs hands to become a jewel.
Co-authored
Luminaria begins in the hands of Luz Rodríguez, amidst research, drawings, and testing. But there comes a point when the design needs to meet craftsmanship.
That is when the hands of our master jeweler in Córdoba come in, transforming each idea into metal through traditional jewelry techniques.
The piece goes back and forth from one set of hands to the other. It is tested, corrected, and worked on until its final form is achieved.
It is not mass production. It is shared knowledge, craftsmanship, and time.
Two people. Four hands. One single piece of jewelry.
Jewelry care
Can I get my Luz de Nehca jewelry wet?
Although 925 sterling silver can get wet, we recommend avoiding regular contact with water, perfumes, creams, cleaning products, chlorine, and seawater, especially for gold-plated jewelry. This will help preserve its finish.
How do I clean my jewelry?
Use a soft cloth specifically for jewelry and gently rub the surface.
For gold-plated pieces, avoid abrasive products or excessive friction that could damage the plating.
How should I store them?
Store each piece of jewelry separately, in a dry place protected from humidity and direct light.
This will prevent scratches and help preserve its finish.
Why might the appearance of my jewelry change over time?
Silver is a living metal and may naturally darken when it comes into contact with air, humidity, or certain products.
For gold-plated jewelry, the finish may also gradually wear off with use.
This is not a defect in the piece, but part of the nature of the metals and how we wear them.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the Luminaria collection different?
Luminaria is born from the rough diamond, symbol of Luz de Nehca, and from the idea that our most important light is built from within.
Each piece has been designed by Luz Rodríguez and handcrafted in Spain, combining design, research, and jewelry craftsmanship.
How are Luminaria jewels made?
Every piece of jewelry begins with an idea, sketches, and various tests until its final form is found. Afterward, the design passes into the hands of our master jeweler in Cordoba, where it is handcrafted using traditional techniques such as lost-wax casting, refining, soldering, and polishing.
It is a process that goes back and forth from one pair of hands to another until the final result is achieved.
Can Luz de Nehca jewelry cause allergies?
Our jewelry is made of 925 sterling silver, a high-quality material generally well-tolerated by the skin. However, every skin type is different, and we cannot guarantee that a piece of jewelry will not cause a reaction in people who are particularly sensitive to certain metals.
If you have any known allergies, we recommend checking the composition of the piece before choosing it or writing to us so that we can assist you.
What is the difference between a silver piece of jewelry and a gold-plated one?
Luminaria jewelry is made of sustainably sourced 925 sterling silver and, depending on the design, can be found in a silver finish or gold-plated.
The gold jewelry receives a gold plating that provides its characteristic warm hue, while the silver pieces retain the natural look of the metal.
The plating may require more care to remain beautiful for longer.
Legend of the Luminarias
There are lights that do not need to be seen to exist.
They say we are all born with a light that cannot be seen with the naked eye, but can be felt.
A light of one's own, unique, born from within.
They call that light LUMINARIA.
Sometimes life makes us forget it. Makes us hide it. Makes us stop listening to it.
But the light never disappears.
It remains within, waiting for you to return to yourself.
To recognize yourself. To decide to let it shine.
This piece of jewelry does not give you the light.
It reminds you that you already have it.
I am Luminaria. I shine from within.
