Surely you have also wondered about the meaning of NEHCAA, right? And have you reached any conclusion? Possibly not. Well, don't worry, because we are very eager to tell you. We confess that choosing the name was the most difficult part of creating our brand. It may seem strange to you, but it is the truth. When we started fantasizing about creating a handmade and sustainable jewelry brand, we never could have imagined that one day it would become a reality. This entire first phase of creation took place in AACHEN (Germany), the city where we lived. And also where our love story began (but keep that as a secret). But it was when we moved to live in Estepona (Málaga) that we moved from idea to action. Once the first GLASSES collection was born, we had to baptize the brand. And what do we call it? Aachen is a city that we carry in our hearts, since we lived the 10 happiest years of our lives there. That is why we wanted to give it a nod with this small tribute, and we came up with NEHCAA.

NEHCAA = AACHEN

As you may have already noticed, NEHCAA is the rearrangement of the letters of AACHEN spelled backward. And the fact is that Aachen is a city that provides a lot of inspiration. More than 30,000 students live there. It is one of the most innovative cities in Germany and is very international. 24% of the population is foreign. And the average age is 41 years old, making it a city full of youth. Its geographical location bordering Belgium and the Netherlands makes it even more cultural. And its streets are full of bicycles and young students.

We love to visit Aachen at least once a year, as it inspires us and fills us with joy to remember all the moments we experienced.
