So, when I was clear that my first jewelry collection was going to be glasses, I already knew what their packaging would be.:-)

I made the first case out of paper to optimize its size. In addition to being the packaging for the GLASSES pendants, I wanted to give it dual functionality. I love using and reusing things, giving them a second life, and having practical items at home. Does that happen to you too? These mini glasses cases are ideal for keeping jewelry looking like the first day, but you can also use them as a coin purse. Or to store your lipstick so it’s not always lost in your bag.

One weekend I was with friends at a rural house in Arcos de la Frontera (Cádiz). This beautiful town in Cadiz is very close to Ubrique, the cradle of leather in Spain. Where big brands make their luxury leather bags. Many of the inhabitants work in the factories of Ubrique and know the leatherworking craft to perfection. And that's how I found Manu, a young leather artist with wonderful hands for working with skin.

I told him about my project and my idea. In my bag, I carried one of the cases I had made myself and I showed it to him. We connected immediately because we spoke the same language, that of creativity. I placed the first order for 50 cases, then another 50, and many more followed.

We started using the leather scraps left over in Ubrique, so each case would be unique and exclusive. The colors changed according to the seasons and were increasingly beautiful and cheerful. In short, the goal was achieved. Doesn't it happen to you that when you get exactly the idea you have in your head, the satisfaction is immense? But it also happens to me that I'm always overthinking everything and I never reach perfection, hahaha. Now I've had another idea, to make the cases out of cork.
