It’s something I love to do, but when I use the motor to prepare the stones, the noise it makes is so loud that it’s not even worth turning on the radio. But yesterday we had such a great FRIDAY vibe. We were as happy as could be. And suddenly we started identifying songs with stages of our lives. Once, a client told me she bought the silver pendant with lapis lazuli because it reminded her of her favorite song, AZUL by Cristian Castro. Have you also associated any of our designs with a song? The song of the summer that marked a period of my life
I don’t know if I’ve ever told this story, but as a child, I was a rhythmic gymnast. I started at age 5 and had to quit at 14 due to a knee injury. Well, I remember one of my first group competitions with a really cool choreography to the song LAMBADA. Since then, every time I hear this song, I am transported back to that beautiful childhood my parents gave me. Do you remember the LAMBADA? The Lambada was sung by the Bolivian group Los Kjarkas and was called "Llorando se fue". But it was in 1989 that it gained worldwide fame after the success of the musical group Kaoma titled "Chorando se foi".The song of the summer the year you were born
Doesn’t it happen to you that when the jokes start, the music, the heat, you get silly and start thinking about everything except what you should be doing? Well, that’s exactly how we were yesterday. And it occurred to Frank to look up on the internet what the song of the summer was in his birth year in Germany. And the song was "You're the One That I Want" by John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John for the movie GREASE. What a surprise! We both absolutely love that song. And I checked the Spanish hits and the song of the summer when I was born was "GLORIA" by Umberto Tozzi. A song that spent almost two years as a number 1. I love it, and every time I hear it, I get a huge burst of energy. And do you know what yours is? Well, the magazine ELLE.es has put together a compilation of all these songs from '70 to '89.
