Gisela Intimates at Cenas con Chispitas in Dani García's atelier
On Thursday, February 8th, I was able to attend the "Cenas con Chispitas" event, which in this case was a lunch to get to know this very entrepreneurial family. I arrived first, making use of my German punctuality. This time, I didn’t get the WhatsApp message informing me that the lunch was at 2:30. So, I had half an hour to meet Ana, Lourdes Muñoz from the Dani Garcia group, and Dani’s own atelier, which is super cool.

Photograph taken by Manuel Martos @manuelmartosc, meeting Ana Porras (director of Yo soy Mujer), a wonderful person. Around 2:20, the other guests I was going to share lunch with began to arrive. There were 20 of us ready to enjoy the food and the company. We exchanged so many opinions, experiences, and laughs. You can’t imagine how much I enjoyed it.

From Bailarina to Gisela, passing through all our projects
Ana gave a wonderful presentation of the Ferrer family, also including her own story. José Miguel Ferrer, along with his children Iván and Yolanda, listened to her with great emotion. It was truly a very moving story told from the heart.

He told us that he started with a company in partnership with his brother-in-law called Bailarina. After the '92 crisis, he decided to venture out on his own with GISELA.

From how she convinced her father to let her be a designer to taking the step of leaving Women'secret to work at her father's company. She says it was quite a difficult decision since she had always rejected the family business, but today she is proud to have listened to her heart. Cenas con Chispitas was an unforgettable experience. I loved it, not only for the atmosphere and the food but for the human quality of the speakers and all the guests. I left lunch with a great taste in my mouth in every sense and eager to return.
NEHCAA - Jewels that see stories
Meeting the Ferrer family filled me with positive energy to keep fighting to achieve my dream. The dream of showing the world that "life depends on how you look at it." Photograph taken by Manuel Martos @manuelmartosc.
These were the GLASSES that saw the Ferrer family firsthand:
- Sustainable Silver pendant with Onyx
- Sustainable Silver ring with Onyx made into a pendant
If you want GLASSES to see your story, don't hesitate to tell it to me because I would be delighted to include it in my NEHCAASLOW Diary. In this diary, I keep all the stories I receive with great affection and respect, where my NEHCAASLOW girls tell me how their GLASSES pendant has changed or improved their lives.
